The World Needs Leaders

This piece stopped me in my tracks:

"The world needs more people who won't sell out for a price; who won't borrow from integrity to pay for expediency; whose handshake is an ironclad contract; who aren't afraid of risk; who are honest in small matters as they are in large ones..."

It's anonymous-but it captures something I've felt deeply throughout my career.

We don't just need leaders with vision-we need leaders with values. People who can win with grace, lose with dignity, and keep friends they've known for twenty years. People who don't confuse ruthlessness with strength, or consensus with courage. People who aren't afraid to admit when they're wrong-and strong enough to grow from it.

In short, we need leaders who understand that character isn't a skill to be learned, but a truth to be lived.
